Clifton Community Regularization Programme - Friday June 26, 2015


The SCJ Holdings Limited (SCJH), under its Community Regularization Programme, continued the issuance of some 200 Certificates of Possession to residents of the Clifton Community in South Central St. Catherine at a Hand-over Ceremony on Friday June 26, 2015. On this occasion Member of Parliament for St. Catherine South, Hon. Fitz Jackson, shared the stage with other high ranking government officials including Hon. Luther Buchanan, Councillor Michael Edwards, and Councillor Leon Thomas, Acting Mayor Portmore Municipal Council.

On Wednesday February 17, 2016 the SCJH continued its community development exercise by issuing a further 80 Certificates of Possession. This most recent issuance which took place at the Clifton Seventh Day Adventist Church brought the total Certificates of Possession awarded to Clifton residents to Three hundred and eighty-one (381) out of some four hundred (400) families on record. 



Hertford Community Regularization Programme - Thursday July 16, 2015


There was more celebration for Hertford/Morass Lane residents as the SCJH issued 200 Certificates of Possession to residents of the Hertford/Morass Lane Community in Westmoreland at a Hand-over Ceremony at the Hertford New Testament Church of God on Thursday July 16, 2015. 

Friday February 19, 2016 saw the continuation of the process of allowing families now living in this community the opportunity of property ownership for lands that they have been living on for decades as a further 155 Certificates of Possession were handed over. At this ceremony held at the Hertford New Testament Church of God the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Derrick Kellier, participated in the handing over of 152 certificates to residents and 3 to established entities of Hertford. This ceremony brought the total Certificates of Possession awarded to Four hundred and fifty-five (455) in the Hertford/Morass Lane community.
