Public Procurement Exercise: Springfield #1 Well Development Project (Clarendon)

The SCJ Holdings Limited now invites eligible and qualified bidders to tender for the proposed turnkey operation to supply and install deep well pump and accessories project under the Springfield #1 Well Development Project in Springfield, Clarendon. Qualification requirements include National Contracts Commission Certificate in Mechanical Works (Grades 1 – 2).

Bidding will be conducted through the Local Competitive Bidding (LCB) procedures specified in the Government of Jamaica, Handbook of Public Sector Procurement Procedures Revised May 2012 (which can be accessed at and is open to all bidders in Jamaica.

Inspection, purchase, and collection of the Tender Documents may be done at the above address from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays as of Monday May 26, 2014. Eligible Contractors shall seal the original and all copies of the bid in two inner envelopes and one outer envelope duly marking the inner envelopes as “original” and “copies”. Additional details are provided in the Tender Documents and may be obtained at the above address upon payment of JMD$6,000.00.

Bids are to be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Meeting Room at the SCJ Holdings Limited, located at Lot 12, Innswood, Old Harbour Road, Spanish Town, St. Catherine. The closing date for the submission of tender is Monday June 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with tender opening at 2:15 p.m. at the Meeting Room located at the above address.

Kindly note that the failure to submit the following documents VALID AT BID SUBMISSION will deem your bid NON-RESPONSIVE:
